  • About Thoughtful Yeti

I am the author. The ideas of this blog came about after an extended period of emotional turmoil in my life. No matter how hard I tried, some things about the world did not make sense to me. It made me retreat inwards and look at the world with new eyes. I must admit it's a process, that still continues to date.

At first everything was blurry. Slowly, like a near-blind man putting on glasses for the first time, some truths started flashing in front of my eyes. They were not pleasant, I tried to ignore them, refute them. But like an unpleasant but loyal friend, they just sat there next to me, waiting for me to acknowledge the truth of their existence.

During one of these periods of deep contemplation, a few vague but intense images flashed in front of my eyes. A monster, sitting high on top of a snow clad mountain. Contemplative. Looking at me and the world around me. It started telling me things, in riddles, pictures and intuitions. It asked me to investigate.

This blog is my attempt to present the results of that ongoing investigation along with the other little gems I have found on the way. If there are gaps and inconsistencies in my logic, I apologize. I am only human and I will try my best to synthesize these deep truths through the eyes of my limited lived experience. My understanding is always evolving and growing.
