Long long ago, the world was still young.
Spirits gods and godesses roamed the land and skies and mixed freely.
One day, a godess gave birth to an eye.
Weak feeble and without arms and legs, this little being was helpless.
The godess named it ‘ego’.
Helpless and weak, ego could only look at the world, for it only had eyes.
One day, it sat on a rock, and said, this rock is me.
And lo and behold, the rock came alive.
For the first time the rock could see.
From then on, the rock protected it’s ego with all it’s strength.
Over time the rock forgot about the little ego living inside it.
In it’s journeys through the world, the rock broke into many pieces.
But all it’s pieces had a little ego inside them, and thus, ego spread in the world.
And the world came alive in this way, for the first time, and exclaimed, “I exist”.
Overtime, all the little rocks forgot about the little egos living inside them.
They kept multiplying and spreading through the world, turning into various shapes and forms.
And that is how the world came to be filled with ego embodied beings.
