In time the pebbles forgot about the parent rock.
They forgot about the ego.
Ego quietly lived inside all of them and made each pebble exclaim - “I exist !!!”.
They forgot the old gods and godesses. All they could see now was a world filled with other pebbles. Some beautiful, some ugly, some scary, some innocent. And for the first time ‘the other’ was born in this world.
Everywhere the pebbles looked, there stood ‘the other’. The other existed in all places, where the I was not there.
The Pebbles soon learned that the other is the enemy. For every ‘I’, there were unlimited others.
The world became an unsafe place. The world became a scary place. The world became a lonely place.
