Every pebble looked at the others with wonder, amazement and fear.
The world filled with chatter.
- I am me and you are you.
- tell me about you
- this is mine.
- do not take this from me.
- come near me.
- I desire you.
- go away from me
- you disgust me.
- let me eat you.
- please, donot harm me. and so on…
But the other was a lie, It did not exist. it was simply a shadow of where the “I” was not present. Yet, In whichever direction they looked, there stood unlimited others, and one helpless “I”. The world was set into motion by this ignorance, like never before.
The pebbles all jostled with each other, for space and power. This caused a great upheavel.
“The Churning Cycle” had begun. The pebbles hunted one another, loved one another, mixed and seperated, violently.
This was not new, matter and mind had always moved and melded, freely. But now it happened with a lot of suffering, and some joy.
The gods watched, and called this “The Churning Cycle”. Thus the churning cycle began and it continues till today.
